In the northern range of hills that separate the Duchy of Landon and the Bleaklands lies Headow Mine, a sprawling copper mining operation that has become the lifeblood of the surrounding region. The mine's entrance, a dark and imposing portal hewn into the rugged hills, leads to a labyrinthine network of tunnels and caverns where skilled miners toil to extract the precious copper that is coveted across the realm.

The mine is a bustling hub of activity, with the clang of pickaxes echoing through the underground chambers. Dimly lit by flickering lanterns, the walls of the mine reveal the gleaming veins of copper that wind their way through the rock, creating a mesmerizing spectacle for those brave enough to venture into the depths.

Nestled at the base of the hills, the town of Claydrift is a lively settlement that has grown in tandem with the success of the mining operation. It boasts sturdy stone buildings, with the prominent Miner's Guildhall at its center, where miners convene to share stories and strategies.

The town is surrounded by workshops, blacksmiths, and marketplaces where copper goods are crafted and traded. The smell of freshly baked bread wafts through the air from the bustling bakeries, providing sustenance for the hardworking miners who call this town home.

Overlooking both the mine and the supporting town stands Headow Keep.
